  1. How many extra police officers will be allocated to the Hunter Police commands in the next round of new recruits?
  2. What is the breakdown of the allocation of police to Hunter Police commands since January 2013?
Answer -

I am advised:

  1. The allocation of police resources is determined by the Commissioner. New Probationary Constables are deployed in May, August and December each year to replace and add to existing police numbers. Allocations of officers from the next graduating class will be announced on the day of attestation.
  2. 30 new Probationary Constables have been allocated to Hunter Local Area Commands since January 2013
