817 - HUNTER WATER CORPORATION PRIVATISATION

Hornery, Sonia to the Minister for Water, Property and Housing

Considering that the Government's recent request for a $100 million dividend from Hunter Water will require the corporation to take on more debt for a total of $1.1 billion, can the Minister make assurances that the corporation will not be privatised?

There are no plans to privatise Hunter Water.
