1981 - LAKE MACQUARIE LOCAL AREA COMMAND—POLICE NUMBERS

Hornery, Sonia to the Attorney General, and Minister for Justice representing the Minister for Police and Emergency Services, Minister for the Hunter, and Vice-President of the Executive Council

Given that four new probationary constables will be allocated to Lake Macquarie Local Area Command, how many more police need to be allocated to Lake Macquarie to have the command at 100% capacity?

Answer -

This Government is determined to provide police with the numbers and resources they need to keep the community safe.

The Lake Macquarie Local Area Command was at 102% operational capacity as at 4 May 2012.
