4300 - WIFI ACCESS AT THE CALVARY MATER HOSPITAL

Hornery, Sonia to the Minister for Health
  1. Does the Calvary Mater Hospital have free WiFi for patients and visitors?
    1. If not, why not?
Answer -

Earlier this year, I was delighted to launch a trial of a patient Wi-Fi service at the Children's Hospital at Westmead, which was followed by a further trial at Port Macquarie Base Hospital.

Pending the outcomes of the pilots, eHealth NSW intends to provide the Hunter New England Local Health District with the necessary capabilities to provide hospitals in the District, including Calvary Mater Hospital, with guest/patient Wi-Fi services.
