  1. How many non-Government schools in the electorate of Wallsend receive State Government funding?
  2. What are the names of the schools?
  3. How will the funding of these schools be affected by proposed alterations to funding of non-Government schools?
  4. (a) Has the Government carried out an assessment on the impact that these changed funding arrangements will have on the fees parents will have to pay for students attending these schools?
    (b) If so, what are the findings of this assessment?

  2. ASPECT Hunter School, Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College, Holy Cross Primary School, Macquarie College, Margaret Jurd College, Newcastle Waldorf School, Our Lady of Victories Primary School, St Columba's Primary School, St John's Primary School, St Patrick's Primary School, St Pius X High School.
  3. The Government is working with the non-government sector to ensure that this change can be implemented with the least impact on teaching and learning.
  4. (a) No. The level of fees set by non-government schools is a matter for the individual schools themselves.
    (b) Not applicable.
