To the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly,
The Petition of the undersigned citizens of the electorate of Mount Druitt concerned about safety of children crossing Rooty Hill Road North to Plumpton Public School brings to the attention of the House the tragic death on 17 March 2021 of a 5-year old child crossing the road with her mother and seeking the upgrade of Rooty Hill Road North to arterial road standard and to have traffic signals installed to replace the current unsignalized pedestrian crossing.
