To the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly, the petition of citizens of New South Wales Brings to the attention of the House that funding to the Auburn Family Preservation Service, run by Barnardo’s, which is a long established program that prevents child neglect, abuse and eases the entry of children into out of home care, has now only had their funding guaranteed till the 31st of December 2020. The undersigned petitioners therefore ask the Legislative Assembly to reinstate the Auburn Family Preservation Service NSW Government funding to the end of the 2021 financial year as previously guaranteed by the NSW Government.
