Modern slavery risks faced by temporary migrant workers in rural and regional New South Wales

This inquiry was established on 10 October 2024 to inquire into and report on modern slavery risks faced by temporary migrant workers in rural and regional New South Wales.

 

The committee welcomes written submissions from temporary migrant workers who have been directly impacted by modern slavery which will remain open until further notice. These can be sent to [email protected]. To assist individuals from non-English speaking backgrounds, the committee has translated the terms of reference and submission guide into the following languages: Dari; Pashto; Urdu; Hazaragi; Persian (Farsi); Turkish; Arabic; Tamil; Bislama; Fijian; Chinese (Mandarin); and Korean. The submission guide explains the role of parliamentary committees and how to make a submission to an inquiry of the Modern Slavery Committee. Individuals from non-English speaking backgrounds are encouraged to refer to these resources, available here.
