Review of the Modern Slavery Act 2018

The Modern Slavery Committee commenced its review of the Modern Slavery Act 2018 on 24 August 2023, with its first report published in December 2023.

 

From a recommendation made in the first report, the committee has agreed to continue its review of the Modern Slavery Act 2018 to hear from individuals with lived experience of modern slavery.

 

The committee welcomes written submissions and expressions of interest to speak with the committee from individuals who have been directly impacted by modern slavery. For more information about the review and how you can engage, please read the guide prepared by the committee.  

 

Expressions of interest to speak with the committee can be sent to [email protected] by 29 September 2024.

 

Submissions can be sent to [email protected] by 20 October 2024.

To report modern slavery:

To report to law enforcement, contact:

To report suspected child abuse or neglect, contact:
