The Companion Animals Amendment (Puppy Farms) Bill 2021 was referred on 19 October 2021 to Portfolio Committee No. 7 - Planning and Environment for inquiry and report.
Due to capacity constraints and the number of inquiries the committee was managing at the time this inquiry was referred, the committee was unable to undertake this inquiry into the Companion Animals Amendment (Puppy Farms) Bill 2021. The committee tabled a report advising the House as such.
