Notes: Windeyer had earlier been defeated contesting both Canterbury and Paddington. Daniel Henry Deniehy was nominated for this seat but was not mentioned in any of the results. A former MP for Argyle, he had been defeated in West Sydney on 9 June and The Hunter on 25 June, also being nominated in Upper Hunter. As he is not mentioned in any reports of the result in Lower Hunter, it has been presumed he withdrew from the contest.
