Each year, the Schools Reconciliation Challenge showcases students’ visions for reconciliation across Australia. Across August and September 2023, the finalist works in the most recent challenge are on display at NSW Parliament House - don't miss your chance to see them!
‘From River to Sea: Our Island Home’ was the theme of Reconciliation NSW's 13th Schools Reconciliation Challenge, with students encouraged to create artworks contemplating and celebrating First Nations people's ancient knowledge and connection to lands and waters, and themes of Reconciliation more broadly. The works created span a variety of mediums including paint, water colour, drawing, digital artworks and collage. Around 40 of these creative and insightful pieces have been photographed and printed on boards for display at Parliament House.
