The purpose of this Briefing Note is to provide some context for consideration of the proposed Building Services Corporation (Amendment) Bill 1994. It first gives background by covering the Inquiry into the New South Wales Building Services Corporation by Commissioner Peter Dodd, and actions taken in the wake of the Dodd Report.
