Pastoralist. Worked on fathers stations from early age. Became a pastoralist in 1859 and had a run in New England District. Was a partner on Liverpool Plains. Noted studmaster, breeding sheep, cattle and fine racehorses. Associated with the foundation of Randwick racecourse.
