Educated at the King's School, Parramatta and Hawkesbury Agricultural College; woolclasser for some time, then became a dairy farmer at Milton; owned property in England which he visited three times, also Asia in 1972; held a long association with Surf Life Saving Association of Australia., first country member of executive., life member of Austinmer Surf Club and founder of Mollymook Surf Club; councillor of Far West Children's Health scheme. Recreational interests include playing A grade cricket, surfing and swimming.
Military Service
Served in 2nd Australian Imperial Forces for two years; Corporal. Joined Militia in year prior to the war then served as a volunteer during the war.
