Farmer. Educated at Pimlico public school; blacksmith by trade; farmer at Cudgera from c.1908, moved to Tweed Heads in c.1922; contributor to the Tweed Daily; commercial agent in Fairfield, Sydney and later at Lismore. Became a valuer with the Valuer General's Department; returned to Tweed Heads in c.1935. President of the Tweed Heads Chamber of Commerce; honorary secretary of the Coolangatta Surf Lifesaving Club; Freemason. Oddfellow
