  1. What is the average cost of service provision to a chronically homeless person in New South Wales?

  2. Has the Minister or the Department explored a supportive housing model to reduce the cost of service provision to the chronically homeless?

Answer -
  1. In 2016–17, funding for homelessness services and programs in NSW, including service provision to chronically homeless people, will be $188.4 million.

  2. Support for chronically homeless people is being considered following consultations on the Government's new strategy to prevent and reduce homelessness.
