Restoration of the Chamber
1980s - Stencilling in the Legislative Assembly Chamber - part of the painstaking restoration of the 1890s decorative scheme.
1974 - The walls of the Legislative Assembly Chamber had been painted white to maximise the effectiveness of the new neon lighting. In the rebuilding and restoration soon to follow, the 1908 decorative scheme would be restored.
