To the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly,
The Petition of the residents of the Wyoming School community in The Entrance electorate, brings to the attention of the House the need for the school pedestrian crossing to be upgraded to a raised crossing and relocated to a more suitable location, further down Maidens Brush Road (near to the public carpark) and entrance of the School. The current crossing is unsafe and illogically placed. In addition, the community would also like to see a speed camera placed to ensure drivers adhere to the 40kmh speed zone. We urge that funding be provided to ensure this work is undertaken as a matter of priority.
