To the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly, Wollondilly Council on behalf of its residents calls on the NSW Government to commit to, fund and deliver a road bypass for Picton to address:
a. The traffic chaos in Picton when repairs are undertaken on the historic Victoria Bridge in Prince St or the Victoria Bridge is closed due to accidents on the bridge.
b. The impacts of traffic growth in Picton due to planned residential development, for the benefit of both residents and businesses.
c. Improving emergency access and egress during natural disasters.
