Community based sentencing options for rural and remote areas and disadvantaged populations

This inquiry was referred to the Committee on 2 April 2004 by the Hon Bob Debus MP, Attorney General. The Inquiry commenced in late January 2005 with the publication of a discussion paper and a public call for submissions. Hearings and site visits to rural and remote NSW were conducted in the following months. The Committee tabled its final report on 30 March 2006.
