The Committee shall take into consideration: The adequacy of consultations between the Minister and the Department with advocacy groups preceding and following the decision to change the current funding arrangements. The possible impacts affecting the operation of organisations subject to the proposed funding arrangement. Any possible impacts on the representative structure of the non-government disability advocacy sector and the effects on people with disabilities and their families in NSW. The implications of implementing competitive tendering in the community services sector, particularly in relation to systemic advocacy.
