Motion made for second reading and amendment (Mr Bavin) to insert the following words "the Bill be postponed until steps have been taken to secure the co-operation of all classes of the community in a non-party effort to deal with the grave financial and industrial dangers which threaten the State and with the widespread and increasing unemployment," ruled out of order 10/12/1930. Amendment (Mr Buttenshaw) to read a second time "this day three months" negatived 10/12/1930. LC REMARKS: Reported 11295. Third reading with concurrence.
