Son of Andrew Sinclair, compositor, and Elizabeth Cameron. Married (1) Margaret Eleanor Mavor in c.1897 at Sydney and had issue, 3 daughters and 2 sons. Married (2) Ada Christian Beaver in c.1912 at Balmain and had issue, 1 daughter. Funeral ceremony at Rookwood crematorium with Presbyterian rites.
Qualifications, occupations and interests
Boilermaker and union secretary. Boilermaker and secretary of Sydney branch and first federal secretary of Boilermakers' Union in 1909, held positions until 1942, resigned; employed as a boilermaker in defence works 1942 - 1943; director of 2KY radio station.
