Cause Category: Death
Notes: Caused by the death of Minister for Lands and Agriculture John Louis Trefl. With the war underway, Liberal Leader Wade agreed to a truce where no Liberal would nominate. However, the Farmers and Settlers Association did not feel bound by this agreement, and nominated a candidate who had received the endorsment of both the Liberals and FSA at the 1913 election.
