Source: Report of nominations, Cumberland Mercury, 17 June 1891, p.2 continued p.6, and SMH 16 June, p.4 col.4-6. Mercury reported same totals as SMH 19 June 1891, p.5 col.7, the SMH reporting full booth details 18 June, p.6 col.6.
Corrections: There are three changes to the party affiliations in Hughes and Graham (1975). Nairn (1989) makes it clear that Gannon was a Labor candidate, as did both the Daily Telegraph and Australian Star. Forsyth and Taylor have been listed as Independent Free Trade candidates as they were excluded from 'official' lists. (SMH 17 June, p.9 col.8) Hughes and Graham also use earlied results published SMH 18 June, p.6 col.6.
