Notes: Sitting MP James Osborne did not re-contest, though the report of the nominations is confusing and suggests he originally was re-nominated. Francis Andrew Thompson was nominated but withdrew, and a Mr Thrower also nominated. None of these appeared in the results. William Forster had been sitting MP for Queanbeyan in the old Parliament.
