Sitting Day iCal download

The iCal download file includes the current calendar year's entire sitting day schedule for both Houses for you to import and view within your own calendar application.

Note however that sitting days are subject to change. Changes in sitting dates which are announced after you import our iCal download file will not not be reflected in your own calendar application, so you should periodically check this website to confirm the latest sitting schedule.

Download the .ics file to your computer by clicking the download button.


Follow the instructions below specific to your own calendar application, on how to import the Sitting Day iCalendar. Supported applications include Microsoft Outlook, Novell Groupwise, Lotus Notes, Google calendar and Apple iCal.


Instructions for Microsoft Outlook

1. Save the file to any location (eg. Desktop).
2. On the File menu from Microsoft Outlook, click "Import and Export".
3. Click "Import an iCalendar (.ics) or vCalendar file (.vcs)", then click "Next".
4. In the Files of type list, choose "iCalendar Format (*.ics)".
5. Locate the folder that contains the downloaded iCalendar file.
6. Select the iCalendar file and click OK.

Instructions for Novell Groupwise

1. Save the file to any location (eg. Desktop).
2. If Groupwise is your default mail and calendar application, from Windows Explorer double-click the downloaded iCalendar file and click OK to confirm the import.
3. Alternatively:
   1. Right click Calendar on the left pane in Groupwise and select option "Import Calendar".
   2. Click on "Browse..." and locate the folder that contains the downloaded iCalendar file.
   3. Select the downloaded iCalendar file and click "Open".
   4. Click OK.
4. The entries appear as "Notes" in the single day view (from the Groupwise menu bar click View > Change Calendar View > Day).

Instructions for Lotus Notes

1. Save the file to any location (eg. Desktop).
2. Open your Lotus Notes calendar, go to File and click "Import...".
3. In the "Files of type" dropdown list, choose "Calendar File (.ics)".
4. Locate the folder that contains the downloaded iCalendar file.
5. Select the downloaded iCalendar file and click OK.

Instructions for Google Calendar

1. Save the file to any location (eg. Desktop).
2. In Google Calendar, click "Settings" under "My Calendars".
3. Click "Import Calendar" under Task area.
4. Click on "Browse..." and locate the folder that contains the downloaded iCalendar file.
5. Select the downloaded iCalendar file and click on "Import".
6. The popup window will confirm the file processing.
7. Click "Close".
