Australasian Study of Parliament Group (ASPG)
The Australasian Study of Parliament Group (ASPG) is a politically non-partisan body which was established in 1978 to encourage and stimulate research, writing, teaching and discussion about parliamentary institutions, particularly those in Australasia and the South Pacific. The ASPG has Chapters in all States and Territories of Australia and in New Zealand.
Membership consists of parliamentarians, parliamentary officers, academics, teachers, journalists, students and other interested individuals.
The
Australasian Parliamentary Review is the ASPG's official journal and is published twice a year. The National President of the ASPG is the Hon. Kevin Rozzoli, former Speaker of the NSW Legislative Assembly.
Seminars
The NSW Chapter of the ASPG also holds seminars on topical issues relating to Parliament in NSW and Australia.
The next seminar has not been scheduled.
Membership
Membership of the New South Wales Chapter costs $45 per year and entitles you to:
- Two issues per year of the Australasian Parliamentary Review
- Discounts to attend the ASPG Annual Conference and other ASPG function
- Priority to attend seminars and other functions held by the NSW Chapter.

Annual conference
The ASPG holds an annual conference hosted by the Australasian parliaments on a rotational basis.
