Member and Patron of various community organisations.
Qualifications, occupations and interests
High School Teacher and businesswoman in a computer service. B.A., Dip.Ed. University of Newcastle. Newcastle Girls School from 1967 until 1968. Dormers Wells, Southall, United Kingdom 1969 until 1970. Newcastle Technical College 1971 until 1973. Finance Director of Compuserve Newcastle Pty Ltd in 1978. First woman Opposition Whip and woman to gain ministerial appointment in a Liberal Government. First woman President of the Legislative Council. Recreational interests included water skiing, swimming, art and family.
Personal
Married Bruce Sheldon and they had 1 daughter and 1 son.
