The Hon. ROBYN PARKER: My question without notice is directed to the Minister for Health, Minister for the Central Coast, and Vice-President of the Executive Council. Is the Minister aware that in today's media the member for Maitland has likened the meeting with residents as part of the Government's upcoming Cabinet meeting to be held in Newcastle as akin to speed dating? Is it the view of the Government that meetings with community representatives in regional areas should be treated as speed dating; with Ministers offering only a handshake and a smile and then moving on as quickly as possible?

The Hon. JOHN DELLA BOSCA: I am not familiar with the concept of speed dating. Obviously the Hon. Robyn Parker has an advantage on me.

The Hon. Duncan Gay: I can tell you what you do. When you meet someone you say, "Do you know who I am?"

The Hon. JOHN DELLA BOSCA: Very funny, Duncan. I am not sure what the member for Maitland was referring to. He is a very intelligent person and an outstanding member. I am sure whatever analogy he used from popular culture for the deep and thorough consultation the Government conducts in community Cabinets was more than satisfactory and appropriate.
