Substitute decision-making for people lacking capacity (Inquiry)

This inquiry is a completed Legislative Council inquiry conducted by the Social Issues Committee.   This Inquiry was established on 30 June 2009 to inquire into and report on the provisions for substitute decision-making for people lacking capacity in New South Wales, and in particular whether any NSW legislation requires amendment to make better provision for the management of estates of people incapable of managing their affairs; and the guardianship of people who have disabilities. The terms of reference for the inquiry were referred by the Attorney General, the Hon John Hatzistergos MLC
