322 TRANSPORT—ELECTION PROMISES—CITYRAIL SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS TO CENTRAL STATION SERVICE—Mr Gay to ask the Treasurer, Minister for Energy, Minister for State Development, Minister Assisting the Premier, and Vice-President of the Executive Council representing the Minister for Transport, and Minister for Tourism—

    (a) Did the Government make a pre-election promise to provide a CityRail through service from the Southern Highlands to Central Station?

    (b) If so, when will this occur?

323 EDUCATION—NEW SCHOOL SITE—MITTAGONG—Mr Gay to ask the Attorney General, and Minister for Industrial Relations representing the Minister for Education and Training, and Minister Assisting the Premier on Youth Affairs—

    (1) Has the Department of Education purchased, or will it be purchasing, a site in Mittagong for the purpose of a new school?

    (2) What is the schedule for the building of the new high school in Mittagong?

    (3) When is the expected completion date for the new high school in Mittagong?

    (4) What will be the capacity of the new high school in Mittagong?

    (5) (a) Can the Minister advise where this project appears on the capital works priority list?

    (b) If it is not on the list, when will it be placed on the list?

324 POLICE—POLICE STATIONS—BOWRAL—Mr Gay to ask the Attorney General, and Minister for Industrial Relations representing the Minister for Police—

    (1) Will the Minister advise when a new police station will be built in Bowral?

    (2) (a) Did the Government make a pre-election promise to increase police numbers in the Bowral patrol?

    (b) If so, when will this occur?

325 POLICE—POLICE STATIONS—BUNDANOON—Mr Gay to ask the Attorney General, and Minister for Industrial Relations representing the Minister for Police—

    (a) Did the Government make a pre-election promise to re-open the Bundanoon Police Station 24 hours a day?

    (b) If so, when will this occur?

    326 EDUCATION—SCHOOL ACCOMMODATION—BOWRAL—Mr Gay to ask the Attorney General, and Minister for Industrial Relations representing the Minister for Education and Training, and Minister Assisting the Premier on Youth Affairs—

      (1) What is the optimum area in hectares to accommodate 640 primary school students?

      (2) What action has the Minister taken to address the accommodation problems at Bowral Public School where 641 students are mainly accommodated in seven demountable buildings on a 1.4 hectare site?

      (3) What precautions will the Minister be taking to minimise disruption to the school and its students once the proprietor of the site adjacent to the school commences construction of a retail complex?

      (4) (a) Does the Department of Education own a site for a new public school in Bowral?

      (b) If so, what is the location of this site and when will the funds be available to build a new school?

      (c) If it does not own a site, will it be purchasing a site in Bowral for the purpose of a new school?

      (5) (a) Where does this project appear on the capital works priority list?

      (b) If it is not on the list, when will it be placed on the list?

      (c) What is the schedule for the building of a new primary school in Bowral?

    327 ENVIRONMENT—SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL CLAY TARGET ASSOCIATION—TERMS OF LEASE—Mr Gay to ask the Attorney General, and Minister for Industrial Relations representing the Minister for the Environment—

      (1) What are the terms of the lease negotiated over the site at Heathcote Road, Lucas Heights, which is currently used by the Sydney International Clay Target Association as a rifle range?

      (2) Can the Minister assure the Association that there is no proposal to prematurely end the tenure of the Sydney International Clay Target Association over this site?
