318 GAMING AND RACING—GREYHOUND RACING CONTROL BOARD—ANABOLIC STEROIDS— Mr Bull to ask the Minister for Community Services, Minister for Aged Services, and Minister for Disability Services representing the Minister for Gaming and Racing, and Minister Assisting the Premier on Hunter Development—

    (1) Will the Minister provide a detailed report on all positive swabs taken by the Greyhound Racing Control Board during 1994 and 1995?

    (2) (a) Does the Greyhound Racing Control Board take swabs for anabolic steroids in greyhounds?

    (b) If not, will the Minister outline the rationale behind this policy?

    (3) What is the procedure for notifying the NSW Police Service after a positive cocaine swab has been received by the Greyhound Racing Control Board?

    (4) In response to a question taken on notice during the Budget Estimates hearings, the Minister stated that the Greyhound Racing Control Board had been furnished with a copy of the Scullion Report on 2 August 1995 and that the Board was currently considering the recommendations of the Scullion Report. Has the Board now concluded considering the report and if so what recommendations has the Board adopted?
