Description	Sometime during the nineteenth century the collection was arranged according to a fixed location system, whereby each volume was given a call number which corresponded with its physical storage location. The following shelflists give the arrangement of the fixed location collection, which is still used for the bulk of the nineteenth century collection. They list, in shelf order, the catalogued collection of the Library up to 1958, when the Dewey Decimal System of cataloguing was introduced. The volumes have been arranged according to size.
