Terms of Reference establishing Committee (click to show)
Standing Order 280 states that a sessional order establishing the Standing Orders Committee may be adopted every session. In the current session, the Committee was appointed on 8 May 2003: Minutes of the Proceedings of the Legislative Council, First Session of the 53rd Parliament, No 5, Thursday 8 May 2003, Entry No 9.
- That, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Standing Orders, the Standing Orders Committee for the present Session consist of the following Members: The President, Mr Egan, Mr Della Bosca, Mr Kelly, Mr Macdonald, Mr Primrose, Mr Gallacher, Mr Gay, Mr Harwin, Mr Jones and Revd Mr Nile.
- That the Committee have leave to sit during any adjournment of the House and have authority to confer with any similar Committee appointed by the Legislative Assembly.
