That this House:

1. Congratulates the Australian women's football team, known as the Matildas, on their qualification for the 2016 Olympic Games.
2. Notes that it has been 12 years since the Matildas qualified for an Olympic Games football tournament.
3. Congratulates the coaching and support staff of the Matildas for their preparation of the squad.
4. Notes the inequality regarding payments of professional women footballers.
5. Calls on all three levels of government, governing bodies and local associations to address the inequality in change room facilities that still exist for women playing sport, especially in football.
