Inquiry Terms of Reference
This inquiry was self-referred.
That, in accordance with its statutory functions under s.95 of the Police Integrity Commission Act 1996, the Committee on the Office of the Ombudsman and the Police Integrity Commission conduct an inquiry into:
- the role of early intervention systems in managing vulnerable law enforcement officers and assisting in corruption reduction;
- current early intervention initiatives by the New South Wales Police Force;
- the utility and further development of an early intervention system for the New South Wales Police Force;
- any other matter the Committee considers relevant to the inquiry;
