Standing Order No. 21
Absence of President and Deputy President
- If both the President and the Deputy President are absent, one of the Temporary Chairs of Committees will act as President.
- If no Temporary Chairs are available in the absence of the President and Deputy President, the members present, if a quorum, will elect a member present to act as President for that day only, the question being put to the House by the Clerk.
