SUPERANNUATION LEGISLATION (SUPERANNUATION GUARANTEE CHARGE) AMENDMENT BILL
The Order of the Day having been read for the resumption of the adjourned debate, on motion of Mr Souris, "That" these bills be now read a second time___
Upon which Mr J. H. Murray had moved, That the question be amended by leaving out all the words after the word "That" with a view to inserting instead the words "the Bills be referred to a select committee for consideration and report___

(2) That the committee report in particular on the accuracy of the Government's costing projections and whether the Government's programme of funding the existing superannuation schemes is adequate to achieve a manageable level of unfunded liabilities and finance current and future benefit payments.
(3) That such committee consist of Mr Cruickshank, Mr Neilly, Dr Macdonald, Mr Petch, Mr Smiles and Mr Yeadon.
(4) That at any meeting of the committee any 4 members shall constitute a quorum.
(5) That the committee have leave to sit during the sittings or any adjournment of the House, to adjourn from place to place, to make visits of inspection within New South Wales, and have power to take evidence and send for persons and papers and to report from time to time.
(6) That the Committee report by 22 February 1993."
